About the event

South bay shaper and surfer, Tyler Hatzikian, shapes a yellow, single fin longboard that is inspired by the boards of the late 1960s and sends it on an around-the-world tour with an eclectic crew of surfers, (Devon Howard, Beau Young, David Kinoshita, Daize Shayne, Bonga Perkins) who ride it, then pass it on, until it makes its way back to Tyler in Los Angeles, California.

Singlefin: yellow is director Jason Baffa's first independent film ("One California Day" 2007, "Bella Vita" 2014). Known as a cult-classic, the picture was shot on 16mm film and brought a spin to the surf-film genre by using a surf board as the main character.
